Application Engineer

For our US subsidiary DATA MODUL Inc., we are looking for an Application Engineer (m/f/d) in Hauppauge NY, in full-time.
WE CONNECT

Your tasks:
- Creation of the initial configuration of prototypes for customerspecific projects
- Composition of quick start guides and application notes
- Provide technical trainings and assistance to customers and sales team
- Definition of cable assemblies, adapter boards incl. creation of drawings for off-site production
- Configuration and assembly of demo units and sample kits for the sales team and trade shows
- Deliver design-in support to customers alongside with product management and sales
- Assist customers with after-sales support
Your profile:
- Educated in electrical or computer engineering or similar
- Experience in working in an engineering environment
- Experience with displays, touch screens, embedded computing and operating systems
- Technical proficiency
- Ability to utilize lab test equipment
- Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Structured and analytical work routine
- Team oriented mindset
- Solid and fluent English language skills
