For our US subsidiary Data Modul Inc., headquartered in Hauppauge, NY with sales office in Portland, OR we are looking for an Outside Sales MidWest (m/f/d).

Sales Territory: MI, OH, IN, IL, MO, KY, MN, WI, IA, ND and SD
Job Location: home based (full-time)

Your tasks:

  • Active acquisition of new customers
  • Manage and expand customer accounts to achieve sales targets
  • Identify and specify products that will meet customer needs
  • Support all related sales, technical and pricing requirements
  • Meeting the sales targets of the area
  • Territory and account planning to meet the growth objectives
  • Working in close collaboration with Product Management teams both in the U.S. and in Germany
  • Visiting customers on a regular basis within the assigned territory and occasional travel to Germany for internal and external meetings

Your profile:

  • Graduated in electrical and/or computer engineering administration or similar
  • Proven track record of new business development and new customer acquisition
  • At least two years of relevant work experience preferably in the Display, Touch or Embedded market
  • Very good IT skills (MS-Office, ERP systems)
  • Experience in working in an international business environment
  • Entrepreneur mindset and “hunter” mentality
  • Proactive, creative and a “can-do” mindset
  • Self-driven energetic personality with good negotiation skills
  • Team player with self-assured behavior, advanced communication skills and a strong customer focus
