DATA MODUL POLSKA SP. Z O.O., located in Lublin, is a 100% subsidiary of DATA MODUL AG. 

Located at our new production site in Lublin, Poland, we are now hiring a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) in full-time.

Your tasks:

  • Ongoing general accounting of Data Modul Polska sp.z o.o 
  • Management of subsidiary ledgers, in particular fixed assets, preparation of fixed asset schedules 
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS 
  • Account reconciliation, preparation of account analyses and evaluations 
  • Contact person for external tax consultants, especially with regard to value added tax 
  • Participation in the preparation of the local annual financial statements and all legal reporting requirements 
  • Preparation of accounting issues in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP 
  • Contact person for the German parent company concerning all accounting matters of the company

Your profile:

  • Business studies or commercial education with focus on accounting/taxes
  • Relevant professional experience in the accounting department of an internationally active company is mandatory 
  • Necessary experience for all statuary requirements according to IFRS and local GAAP 
  • Profound tax knowledge, especially in the area of value added tax 
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office applications, especially very good knowledge of Excel required 
  • High level of understanding of the operational business model and operational business processes 
  • Extremely precise, structured and analytical working style 
  • Hands-on mentality 
  • Very good knowledge of English and German desirable
