DATA MODUL is expanding its embedded portfolio with a new product family of high-performance Computer-on-Modules with Intel® Core™ Ultra processors (Series 3). The modules are based on the latest platform of our technology partner congatec, with whom DATA MODUL has been successfully collaborating in embedded technologies for many years. The new COM module family combines high computing performance with optimized energy efficiency and is designed for demanding industrial applications.
With this new COM generation, DATA MODUL consistently continues the platform strategy and complements its existing portfolio with state-of-the-art processor architecture featuring an integrated NPU for AI-based applications as well as significantly improved graphics and multicore performance. The close partnership with congatec ensures strong innovation capabilities and long-term platform availability.
The modules particularly address applications in industrial automation, medical technology, transportation, and digital signage, enabling powerful, AI-enabled embedded system solutions.
The new product family includes various form factors and performance classes, enabling scalable system designs – from compact solutions to high-end applications. Standardized interfaces and a high degree of pin compatibility with existing platforms also simplify migration from previous generations and reduce development time.
Some of the modules will be part of DATA MODUL’s exhibition portfolio at embedded world 2026 in Nuremberg (hall 1 | booth 368), highlighting the company’s strategic focus on powerful and future-proof embedded platforms.
