First EcoVadis rating: Bronze medal confirms commitment to sustainability

DATA MODUL was awarded a bronze medal in its first EcoVadis rating. This puts us among the top 35 percent of companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis over the past twelve months. The comparison is conducted across industries, regions, and continents.

EcoVadis has developed into a globally recognized provider of corporate sustainability ratings, with a network comprising more than 150,000 rated companies. The assessment covers the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

The bronze medal is above all a joint achievement of numerous teams and colleagues. It recognizes the intensive work carried out over the past three years, building on the foundations established in the years before. The initial assessment process was also supported by the sustainability consultancy sustainable natives. Beyond recognizing what has been achieved so far, the rating creates valuable synergies for the future: Existing processes and documentation will be further developed in a targeted manner, enabling customer and audit requirements to be addressed more quickly, transparently, and consistently in the future. At the same time, our first participation in the rating has strengthened international collaboration and encouraged cross-site and cross-functional exchange, as well as a shared understanding of sustainability.

The EcoVadis medal is valid for one year and represents both recognition and motivation for us. It confirms the path we have taken so far and motivates us to continuously improve our sustainability performance, strengthen the long-term resilience and future viability of the company, and meet the expectations of external stakeholders going forward.
