New in our portfolio: HDR10 support for eMotion UHD-III-G scaler boards

With HDR10, we are expanding the eMotion UHD-III-G scaler board family with a powerful technology that delivers an even more impressive visual experience. Thanks to an extended contrast range, increased color depth, and advanced image processing, HDR10 enables significantly more natural and detailed images compared to conventional SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) solutions. A key advantage: Existing SDR signal sources can continue to be used while benefiting from the advantages of modern HDR image processing.

Entering the world of HDR has never been easier. Thanks to integrated SDR-to-HDR conversion, existing SDR signal sources can be seamlessly reused and automatically optimized for enhanced image quality. Combined with their compact design and broad interface support, the boards provide the ideal foundation for high-performance, future-proof visualization applications with minimal integration effort.

The HDR10-enabled eMotion UHD-III-G boards are designed for applications where image quality, contrast, and detail are essential, including:

• Digital signage and large-format 4K displays
• Casino and gaming systems
• Industrial displays, HMIs, control rooms, and monitoring centers

• 4K/UHD resolution at 60 Hz with support for display brightness levels of up to 1,000 cd/m²
• Advanced MediaTek MT9800 scaler SoC for powerful HDR image processing
• Flexible display interfaces including LVDS, eDP, and V-by-One
• Easy control via OSD, UART, or DDC/CI, as well as firmware updates via HDMI or USB
• Lossless 180° full-screen rotation on the UHD-III-G Plus variant
