Optical Joystick Encoder

Grayhill offers unique human-machine interface joysticks for direction control. These are available with optically controlled joysticks and magnetic hall effect sensors and can be used in harsh environments.
These joysticks are offered in three different technological variants:

• 4-way or 8-way directional control
• Center pushbutton for selecting menu options
• Rotational control for adjusting intensity, scrolling or selecting further options

The detents (clicks) and haptics of Grayhill joysticks are customizable and are available in various mounting and housing options. Cabling options can be individually customized and modified to the electronic design of the end application.
