Sustainability
As an international company, we at DATA MODUL are committed to a sustainable business approach that treats and protects the resources of our planet with care. At the same time, sustainability also means future viability for us. This is why it is an essential component of our global corporate strategy. We take a holistic view of the topic in line with the ESG definition: as a triad of environment, social responsibility and responsible corporate governance. However, to ensure that sustainable change does not just exist on paper, we work proactively in our day-to-day business to contribute to these three areas with concrete actions.
Environment
Efficient resource utilisation for both our products and internal processes is the be-all and end-all for us. We have been certified in accordance with DIN ISO 14001 (requirements for an environmental management system) since 2015. Our management systems are groundbreaking guidelines for our day-to-day activities, with quality and innovation always taking centre stage for our customers.
Social
Our global employees from 35 nations form the most important pillar for us in the social area. In order to maximise their potential, our range of health, occupational safety and sports activities, language courses and seminars as well as international career opportunities form the basis for lifelong learning and holistic fulfilment in our working environment. However, our social commitment goes beyond the working environment: through regular fundraising campaigns, for example, we support projects run by our partner Plan International Germany, which helps disadvantaged children around the world. In this way, we want to live out our social commitment on a wide variety of levels - rounded off by careful supplier selection, long-term partnerships and regular audits, we ensure high standards for our customers throughout the entire supply chain.
Governance
Our five DATA MODUL corporate values serve as guiding stars for responsible and sustainable corporate management. Success, professionalism, innovation, passion and team spirit thus form the basis for our daily actions in our internal co-operation as well as with our customers, suppliers and business partners. We strive for long-term and respectful business relationships in which both sides can grow.
As a listed company, DATA MODUL is subject to a wide range of reporting and disclosure requirements. For us, "corporate governance" stands for responsible management of the company as well as targeted and efficient cooperation between the Executive Board and Supervisory Board.
