DATA MODUL strengthens prospects for young people in Ecuador – donation to Plan International

Around one in five young people in Ecuador still have no education or work – a consequence of the lack of career and educational opportunities. With a donation of € 5,000, DATA MODUL 2025 is therefore specifically supporting the “Professional Future for Young People” project in Ecuador. The project, initiated by Plan International, empowers young people in the Cotopaxi and Santa Elena regions on their path to a self-determined professional life. The aim of the project is to improve the social and economic participation of young people through soft skills training, entrepreneurial training, and the establishment of digital competence centers. 

At the same time, health programs for mothers and children are being implemented to lay the foundation for sustainable development. The partnership between DATA MODUL and Plan International has been in place since 2022. Our collaboration has already supported numerous programs, including educational initiatives in Cambodia and global emergency aid programs for children affected by disasters and in need of urgent relief supplies.

“It is a matter close to our hearts to take on social responsibility – both within our company and beyond,” emphasizes Beate Junker, CFO of DATA MODUL AG. “By supporting Plan International, we aim to help give young people in Ecuador new perspectives and the confidence to pursue their own path – for example, even toward founding their own businesses.”

Through financial support and community partnerships – such as the long-standing cooperation with Plan International – we seek to provide children and families around the world with opportunities for a better future. This commitment is further complemented by local initiatives, including support for the food aid organisation “Münchner Tafel e.V.” and regional children’s aid projects such as the “Stiftung Ambulantes Kinderhospiz München“ and “Kinderklinikkonzerte e.V.”.
