Touch display meets physical wheel - for convenient & safe interaction
We now offer industrial customers the option of integrating loudspeakers and microphones directly behind the display glass. This is made possible by close cooperation with specialised glass suppliers who use state-of-the-art laser cutting technologies. This opens up new design options and functionalities – from smart buildings and entertainment to mobility solutions.
Compared to conventional methods such as CNC milling or water jet cutting, laser cutting allows for even more precise cuts, very narrow distances between individual drill holes and a wide variety of shapes. This technology can be used to create innovative designs, particularly for thin glass (1 to 3 mm) with chemical hardening and organic or ceramic printing.
The seamless integration of membrane-protected loudspeakers means that devices with IP65 protection can also be used outdoors. In addition, the laser cutting method also facilitates the implementation of contactless control solutions using hidden microphones – for modern voice control applications.
