Our display technologies
In the area of display distribution, we offer a wide range of display sizes, shapes and technologies. Our standard distribution portfolio always includes the most popular display technologies: TFT, passive, MIP, ePaper and also OLED are an essential part of our range. In addition, our customers can rely on solutions in partially and fully individualised display design.
TFT Displays
TFT (Thin-Film-Transistor) displays are probably the most common display technology in the field of industrial applications. Our range includes TFTs in Twisted Nematic (TN), Vertical Alignment (VA) and In-Plane Switching (IPS), transflective, transmissive and reflective display modes. Our products fulfill the requirements for high brightness, sunlight readability, low power consumption and extended temperature ranges.
Monochrome and colour Memory-in-Pixel displays (MiP)
Our MIP (Memory-in-Pixel) displays not only feature simple SPI interfaces, but also offer extremely low power consumption. As reflective displays, they are very readable even under strong sunlight and can save approx. 80% of the energy required (compared to transmissive displays) due to the fact that they do not require backlighting. Our MiP displays are available in monochrome (black/white) or full colour.
OLED displays
Vibrant colours, extremely high contrast rates and ultra-wide viewing angles - the advantages of our OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) displays are highly convincing. With our AM (active matrix) and PM (passive matrix) OLED displays, it is also possible to realise very slim product designs, as the self-luminous property of the matrix eliminates the need for additional backlighting as in conventional displays.
Passive displays
Our extensive portfolio of alphanumeric, monochrome and graphic LCD modules includes all common technologies such as STN, FSTN, ASTN, FFSTN or VA. Long-term availability, different LED backlighting options and operating temperature ranges as well as RoHS & REACH conformity characterise our passive displays, especially our own brand BATRON.
ePaper displays
Experience the advantages of ePaper technology by yourself! As long as the image remains constant, this technology consumes no power.
The excellent readability from all viewing angles also makes an ePaper display interesting for a wide range of applications - from eReaders to large-scale digital signage or smart living solutions.
